Leisure Time Games is once again hosting a Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier for the trading card game, Magic the Gathering. PPTQ Minneapolis 2018 will be held during Winter Games And Comics Day 2018, our first of 5 Games Day events held here at The Santa Maria Town Center Mall. The first place finisher will receive store credit equal to
A FULL BOX OF MAGIC THE GATHERING BOOSTER PACKS, as well as an invitation to the regional Pro Tour Qualifier

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
PPTQ Minneapolis 2018 is a Competitive REL Tournament, with a Planeswalker Points Multiplier of
4x
This is a Modified Swiss tournament-
A Swiss Rounds Tournament that will be followed by a top 4/8-players Single Elimination Playoff Tournament.
Cut Off TBD
The Swiss Tournament matches will be 50 minutes in length.
The Single-Elimination Playoff matches will have no time limit.
All players registered to play in the PPTQ may participate in all of the Swiss rounds.

PRIZE SUPPORT
The winner of PPTQ Minneapolis 2018 will receive an invitation to the Regional Pro Tour Qualifier associated with this event as well as store credit equal to the purchase price of a box of Magic The Gathering Booster Packs. Also, there will be prize support given in the form of store credit to other top players. The exact amount of store credit and players qualified varies by the number of participants*.
