The Premiere! Event for the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! set Rage of the Abyss, will be October 4h through the 6th, followed by the OTS release on the 9th
For the first time ever, Konami has added Friday to the list of days Premiere! Events can be held for the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set. Therefore, starting on Friday October 4th, and running through Sunday October 6th, we will be hosting open play Premiere! Events, as well as a Constructed-Advanced tournament on Sunday. During these events, you may purchase as many Rage of the Abyss boosters as you like. However, for your purchase of at least 5 Rage of the Abyss boosters, you will receive:
- A specially made Field Center card.
- Entry into a drawing for your chance to win either a Rage of the Abyss play mat, or a Mimighoul Charm promo card.
The open events happen all day on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Then on Sunday October 6th, in addition to the open play event, we will host a Constructed Advanced tournament. Signups for the tournament will begin at 1:30 PM.

About Rage of the Abyss

A new monster inspired by Big Jaws bursts forth from the depths! This Level 4 Fish can Special Summon itself from your hand if a Spell Card was activated during the turn. After surfacing, it can add any Fish “Shark” monster from your Deck, including a new Fish “Shark” monster that Special Summons itself to the field and can count for multiple materials for an Xyz Summon!
A new Rank 3 WATER Xyz Monster allows you to ascend to new heights! If it is Special Summoned, it can add a brand-new disruptive Trap Card that allows you to destroy your Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua monster and wipe out 2 cards your opponent controls! This slippery Xyz Monster can also retrieve other monsters from the depths or move an Xyz Material from 1 Xyz Monster to another!
Shark’s Number 32: Shark Drake emerges from the endless abyss as an all-new Chaos Xyz Monster. Rank Up to Summon this 3100 ATK monster by discarding any Spell Card and using 1 of the existing Rank 4 “Shark Drake” Xyz Monsters you control as the Material. It has a Quick Effect that can shut down an opponent’s monster effect while reducing their ATK/DEF to 0! There is no escape from the wrath of the sea as this behemoth can attack twice (even directly) and inflicts piercing damage!
There is all of this and so much more left to be explored in Rage of the Abyss!
Rage of the Abyss splashes down with 100 new cards in total, including the second wave for the World Premiere theme that debuted in The Infinite Forbidden. It also continues the 25th Anniversary Celebration by including 25 Quarter Century Secret Rares, including 1 special card!

Rage of the Abyss Premiere Event
Collect cards before their official release at the Rage of the Abyss (ROTA) Premiere! Event. Every Duelist who purchases a minimum of 5 packs will receive a Field Center Card* and be entered into a drawing to win exclusive prizes including a Game Mat* and an Ultra Rare Card*!
The Premiere! Event will be held on Friday, October 4th, Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th during regular business hours.

Rage of the Abyss Premiere Event Details
- You may purchase as many boosters as you like at $4.49 plus tax.
- Full boxes will also be available for purchase for the special price of $84.99 plus tax.
- As long as you purchase 5 or more booster packs, you will you'll also receive 1 Field Center card, and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win either a Rage of the Abyss Premiere Event Play Mat, or a Mimighoul Charm promo card.
- As you'll be officially enrolled into the Premiere Event, a KCGN ID will be required. If you do not have one, one will be provided to you, or you can get one at the Official Konami Website here
- We'll be hosting a Rage of the Abyss Premiere Event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- You may enter the event any time we are open on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, and/or Sunday from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
- You may enter one or more days.
- Only 1 entry into the drawing per person per day.
- The Premiere Event will be open play. However, during the Tournament (see next section), no tables or chairs will be available in the shop as we will most likely have a packed house.
- If you win a play mat or promo card, your name will be removed from the drawing pool, regardless of how many days you've entered.
- The drawing will be held on Monday October 7th, after all events have concluded.
- Need not be present to win, but I won't be shipping, so if you are notified that you're a winner, you'll need to arrange for pick up.
Rage of the Abyss Premiere Event Sealed Deck Tournament Details
- Signups for the Sunday tournament will begin at 1:30 PM.
- Entry will be $22.45 plus tax.
- For your entry, you'll receive 5 Rage of the Abyss boosters, 1 Field Center card, and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win either a Rage of the Abyss Premiere Event Play Mat, or a Mimighoul Charm promo card.
- You will be using your own personal deck, but you can augment it with cards from your boosters that you've just purchased from Leisure Time Games.
- You can only augment your deck from the boosters you purchased to enter the tournament.
- As you'll be officially enrolled into the Premiere Event, a KCGN ID will be required. If you do not have one, one will be provided to you, or you can get one at the Official Konami Website here
- Store credit can be used to enter the tournament.
- Store credit will not be issued, regardless of how entry is purchased.
- OTS packs will not be given out for this event.
- Deck Construction begins at 2:00 PM.
- Please do not open your boosters until instructed to do so. If you do, you will be disqualified from the tournament. Your name will remain on the list for the random drawing though.
- The only cards you will be able to use for the tournament will be from the booster packs you purchase when you enter the tournament.
- Minimum deck size is 40 cards.
- For the record, you may not use cards from Rage of the Abyss in any official tournaments until the set officially releases, Friday October 11th.
- Deck construction as well as rounds during the tournament will be 40 minutes.
- The winner of the tournament will have their choice of the playmat, or the promo card.
- The winner will then be removed from the random drawings.
- The drawing will be held on Monday April 22nd, after all events have concluded.
- Need not be present to win, but I won't be shipping, so if you are notified that you're a winner, you'll need to arrange for pick up.

Rage of the Abyss Launch
Once the premiere event has concluded, we won't be able to sell Rage of the Abyss product until the official release. However, because Leisure Time Games is an OTS (Official Tournament Store), we'll be able to sell boosters starting Wednesday October 9th. This is 2 full days before the official launch, which is Friday October 11th. Also, once the set officially launches, the cards from the set will be tournament legal.
