More info coming soon, but first, my apologies,

As some of you know, I've been promoting the prerelease to be on Monday August 26th. This was an error on my part. I'm not really sure what I was thinking, but here we are.

We usually host our prerelease events for Pokémon on Mondays, since this is the day we usually host our Pokémon League. Turns out the official window to host the Scarlet and Violet Stellar Crown Prereleases is August 31st to September 8th. This means not only that we cannot host our event on the date I've been telling everyone, but the following Monday, September 2nd is Labor Day. Because it is a Federal Holiday, the mall will be closed at 6:00 PM, so we won't be able to host one then either. So, that leaves September 9th.

While September 9th isn't technically within the official prerelease window, it is during the time that official Pokémon Play stores can begin selling the product-5 days prior to the official release date. So, while not during the prerelease window, it'll still be before the actual release date, so we got that going for us.

For the record, as long as I get enough people interested, I can host prerelease tournaments any day during the prerelease window, as long as I have enough product. If any of you would like to come in and play in a prerelease tournament prior to the event we are hosting on the 2nd, it can be done.

Once again, I apologize for the confusion on my part. I'd like to say it'll never happen again, but...you know.
